Titre anglais : A case of uveodermatologic syndrome in a Bernese Mountain dog.

A Bernese Mountain dog was presented for ocular redness and cutaneous problems. On clinical examination, poliosis, vitiligo that included the periocular skin and a bilateral panuveitis were found. The diagnosis was uveodermatologic syndrome (UDS). The dog was treated with local and systemic immunosuppressive drugs. No major complications occurred during the period of treatment. The absence of a genetic predisposition in this breed may explain the positive result of the therapy, compared to what has been described in other breeds.
